The nz huia

The huia is a native new zealand bird they were a very scared bird of things around them they are extinct birds of new zealand.

The huias an extinct species of new zealand Wattlebird, endemic to the north island of New zealand.

The huia is an extinct New Zealand wattlebird with glossy black plumage. The female huia has a much longer and more carved bill than the 7male. Some huias have a white tail. All of them have a
white beak and a bit of yellow under its chin.

They live in the forest of the north island of new zealand. Here is some interesting facts about huias:

Did you know that the huias feather coast 8,000 nz money and 3,800 pounds and did you know that The tail feathers were formally priced by maoris, the last huia to be seen was back 28th december 1907 although there were credible sightings as late as the early 1960’s.


Huias are a maori bird and has already been thru extension. And i feel confused about the why the huia bird extinct?

The huia was a scared bird of things around them. the huia is a new zealand bird, male huia were 45 cm and 18 cm in length, the females were larger at 48 cm and 19 cm in length. I think the huia bird is a amazing bird.
